Hilary Bovey was born and raised in Concord to one of the town’s oldest families predating the Revolution. She is very familiar with the area, it’s history, the schools, having been educated in both private and public, as well as our community programs, and facilities.
After her education and work experiences in London, Switzerland, France and art school in Boston, graduating with a degree in Graphic Design & Fashion Illustration, she moved to New York City where she advanced her career in advertising, staged Bergdorf Goodman’s seasonal window displays, managed the office of a design build construction company and in real estate sales at the Upper East Side firm of Key Ventures. She and her English musician husband “came home” to Concord to raise their family, spend summers in Chatham, winters in Vermont and New Hampshire and to further enjoy their already life-long relationships. They are members of The Concord Country Club and The Chatham Beach and Tennis Club.
Hilary established Bovey Steers Design Group, a nationally published bespoke interior design company focused in NYC and New England. As a designer, she has participated in many Junior League of Boston Showhouses, the PBS “This Old House” 25th Anniversary Showhouse in Carlisle and numerous Concord Museum Holiday House Tours.
Passionate about creating comfortable, elegant and stylish spaces for her clients, Hilary’s creative vision naturally translates into the real estate world. Her dedication, attention to detail and enthusiasm serve her clients well in their property needs, inside and out. With honesty and integrity, her respect of architecture and its environs play the most important role in her desire to get it right.
Other than her family here and abroad, her commitment and loyalty to others in their pursuit for property ownership and legacy are Hilary’s pride and joy. At Engel & Völkers she offers her expertise to others as they make one of the most important decisions of their lives.
